Easier dog nail trims
with a proven, three phase training process.
If you need to trim your dog’s nails without a fight or panic attack, Fearless Nail Trims was created just for you. With my signature LPT System, two different Consent Behavior options, and many other supporting lessons thanks to my experience as a groomer, it helps you clearly understand how to train your dog to cooperate for future nail trims or paw care.
Fearless Nail Trims is a go at your own pace online course created exclusively for dog parents who are struggling to train their dog to be still for nail trims so they can easily take care of their dog.
It helps you feel confident anytime you need to touch your dog’s feet or trim a nail because you know they are consenting for it thanks to my signature LPT System that reduces your dog’s need to pull their paw away, growl or bite.
Because here’s the thing, if you want nail trims to be easier, you need to remove your dog’s fear and replace it with confidence.
Only when he knows what he is consenting to, will he continue to cooperate more and more in the future.

Team Waffles
"I can trim his back feet all by myself!"
Before Jenny was a student, she tried following common training advice but she still couldn’t get her Chow Chow Waffles to be still or willingly participate in nail trims. Jenny shared that Waffles would pull his paw away and it was a two person job for nail trims.
She was no stranger to training. Waffles had other behavior challenges that Jenny was working on with a trainer and in classes, but she still knew something was missing from her understanding of cooperative care. Not to mention, their groomer was moving and Jenny worried that he would adjust to a new groomer.
That’s when she reached out and became a student
— and everything changed (as you can see below!)
This could be you!
PS: It’s not just Jenny. So many students have found success with training exercises and the LPT System found inside Fearless Nail Trims!
Just like you, all of these students struggled to see success while following the many how-to videos and tutorials online, until they found Fearless Nail Trims, the Zen Zone and Accept Any Grooming Tool.

FAQ
-
I’m new to dog training and/or cooperative care. Is this going to help me?
Fearless Nail Trims is going to teach you how to train your dog to consent for handling of the legs/paws and help you get to bringing the nail tools into a training session. This may be more advanced for some people and some dogs. FNT pairs really well with the Zen Zone. ZZ will help you train your dog to trust you so that they allow you to begin to touch them.
-
My dog already knows a start button behavior. How is Fearless Nail Trims different?
There are two consent behaviors taught inside FNT. They are Lay On Side and Paw Targeting. There are strategic methods included that will help you teach your dog that the start button behavior is not just a “start now” signal but also a “I am choosing to stay here” behavior.
-
My dog loves training and opts in enthusiastically but if I grab the nail clipper or dremel, they opt out immediately. How do I get them to stay for the nail tools?
Fearless Nail Trims will help you bridge the gap between showing their consent and you grabbing the nail tools. Through my work with students over the years, I developed the LPT System which helps dog parents to move through the training process at their dog’s pace without rushing the training and needing to start all over. This three phase process clearly describes the goal of each phase and describes what to do so that no one is confusing their dog.
